I started Agility at UpAndover in 2006 with my Border Collie, Meg, and with my background as a teacher, began instructing 3 years later. Our finest moments were getting to the finals of the UKA Nationals week, winning out of Grade 2 and Meg’s final competitive round at the UKA Grand Finals in 2012. Since she retired I have also run 2 other dogs belonging to other people and now have my own Cockapoo puppy, Alfie.
I love instructing and seeing those that I teach compete and do well with their dogs. Agility is really addictive and I can’t wait to get back to competing with Alfie in 2017. I have achieved Agility 1st accreditation and love learning more about the sport. Currently I instruct the startes class on a Thursday night, and as Training Manager am involved in the club’s on-going training. I am also a UKA approved judge.
